A replacement control column for the cockpit of a Messerschmitt Bf 109 model in 1:32 scale, two pieces according to the product name, for the Hasegawa kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 is among the most frequently built fighters of all, and its cockpit is very cramped compared with many of its contemporaries. The control column stands practically in the middle of it, right behind the instrument panel, so it is visible every time you leave the canopy open. On the E, F, G and K versions it keeps the same basic shape and differs mainly in the controls on the grip.
The set replaces the control column from the kit with a part with crisper detail that stands up to a close look even after painting. According to the product name there are two pieces in the package, so you have a second attempt if the first part is damaged while being handled. The name gives the E, F, G and K versions and the Hasegawa kit in 1:32 scale; which particular kit number the set belongs to should be checked against the manufacturer's data on the packaging and in the instructions.
The part is not polystyrene, and cement for plastic will not join it; use super glue or two-part glue and degrease the surfaces before joining. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder carefully, so that the slim profile of the column is preserved. Wash the part in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent before painting. Choose the interior shade and the colors of the controls according to the kit instructions; fit the column into the cockpit floor before you join the fuselage halves, or you will no longer be able to reach it.
The package contains the replacement part named. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
