This is the youngest corner of the range. Modellers associate 1:35 with tanks and figures, and the aircraft now appearing in it are tooled largely for diorama work, where a machine stands alongside vehicles and crew. Eduard treats these kits the way it treats the classic aviation scales, bundling photo-etched parts with canopy masks for one named boxing; the carrier-borne B5N2 Kate is the current example. The listing grows as the kits themselves do, which is why the choice stays narrower than in the long-established formats.
The airframes these packages are cut for are listed under 1:35 aircraft kits. Stitched textile harnesses in the same size come from the Czech specialist HGW, in its HGW 1:35 sets. The older and better-supplied scales are covered by the full Big Ed overview.
