A black modeling paint from Mr. Paint in shade 093M, used on the machines of the modern Swedish Air Force.
Responsibility details are not available.
The black carried under the designation 093M is among the shades of the modern Swedish Air Force. It will find its use on the surfaces that on today's combat aircraft are done in a dark tone, and it will serve just as well anywhere else where you need a black that does not look as hard as neat black out of a bottle.
The paints of the Mr. Paint range are ready for spraying with an airbrush. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use; the pigment settles. Spray in several thin coats at low pressure and let the paint flash off between them. Use the thinner of the same range for further thinning and for cleaning the airbrush; water does not serve for that.
Dark shades reveal every unevenness of the surface beneath, so it pays to refine the surface before spraying and to lay down a primer. Leave mixing with other paint systems alone; the thinners may not agree with each other. Transitions on a dark shade look better when you spray them lightly and from a greater distance, because black forgives mistakes considerably less than light tones. Work in a well ventilated space, ideally by an extraction booth and with a respirator, and close the bottle carefully after work so that the contents do not evaporate.
For builders of modern aircraft who want a shade matching the real subject, and for anyone who works with an airbrush and appreciates a paint that does not have to be prepared at length before spraying. The package contains only the paint; a thinner and an airbrush are not part of the delivery unless stated otherwise.
