About product

Blue Violet 17 ml (AK 3rd Generation Acrylics)

A blue-violet water-thinnable acrylic paint from the 3rd Generation Acrylics line by AK Interactive in a 17 ml bottle with a flat finish. The cooler tone between blue and violet works well as a shadow on violet and blue surfaces and for atmospheric fantasy and sci-fi subjects.

Use

  • Thin it with water or with the acrylic thinner of the same line; for the airbrush, thin it further.
  • Suitable as a shadow color under lighter violet and blue shades.
  • It works on fabric, cloaks and cool accents on figures.
  • Apply it in thin coats and build the shading up by layering.

Who it is for

For figure painters and modelers who need a cool blue-violet tone for shadows and transitions.

Keep out of the reach of children. Shake before use. Work in a ventilated area.

Yes, it dries to a flat finish. You get gloss by sealing it with a gloss varnish.
