Brass square rods 1.5 mm, length 245 mm - Aber

This is not a kit but modeling material from the Polish maker Aber. The package contains two brass rods of square section with a 1.5 mm side and a length of 245 mm. Brass is strong, cuts, sands and solders well and is suitable for scratch building as well as for reinforcing fine parts.

Use

  • making beams, frames, handles and other square details
  • reinforcing thin or heavily loaded parts
  • pinning and joining parts with an accurate pin

Who the material is for

  • modelers who build their details themselves
  • builders of dioramas, equipment and ships
  • everyone who needs a strong and accurate square section

This is material, not a finished part. Use a hacksaw for cutting; the joints can be soldered or glued with cyanoacrylate glue.
