Tamiya paint for polycarbonate, black (23 ml)

A special paint by Tamiya in a 23 ml bottle intended for brush application on polycarbonate (Lexan) bodies of RC models. It makes it possible to paint in details such as vents, frames and fittings without laborious masking. It is not a classic acrylic kit paint for plastic; it is developed specifically for flexible polycarbonate.

Use

  • It is applied with a brush, usually without thinning, straight onto the degreased inner side of a Lexan body.
  • Once dry the finish is water resistant; wash the brushes with water immediately after work.
  • It suits painting in details where masking would be lengthy.
  • Apply in thin coats and let it dry properly.

Who the paint is for

For RC modelers who finish and detail polycarbonate bodies and need a paint that adheres to flexible Lexan.

Work in a well ventilated area, store the paint out of reach of children and clean the brushes with water.
