About product

Building JIG 801 building jig (210x250 mm)

This is not a model or a kit, but a modeling work jig measuring 210x250 mm. It serves as a firm base with angled supports that holds the parts of a model square and symmetrical until the glue dries. It comes into its own when gluing fuselages, sides, bulkheads and whole assemblies at an exact right angle.

Use

  • Holding parts at a right angle while gluing and drying
  • Alignment and symmetry of assemblies (for example a fuselage or sides)
  • Holding a model while painting
  • Safe handling and carrying of a part-built model

Tips

You will use the jig across scales and materials (plastic, resin, card). Before gluing, lay the parts out dry and check the angles; only then apply the glue and let it dry in the jig. Keep the working surface clean of glue residue.

Who it is for

  • Modelers who want exact right angles and symmetry
  • Builders of aircraft, ships, architecture and dioramas
  • Anyone looking for a reliable helper for gluing

FAQ

It holds the parts of a model square and symmetrical until the glue dries, which helps you reach exact right angles and a straight build.

No. It is a modeling tool (a work jig), not a model or a kit.

Universally across scales and materials — plastic, resin and card, on aircraft, ships and dioramas alike.
