Labels for bottle caps, named for lacquer paints. Manufacturer code TA87196, item 87196 from the Tamiya modeling supplies range.
Responsibility details are not available.
Anyone with more than a few paints knows the problem: bottles stand side by side in a drawer or a rack, and from above only the cap is visible. Finding the right one then means picking them up one by one and turning them so the label faces you. Cap labels remove this step. Stuck on top, the shade and designation are readable straight away when you look into the drawer. The item name states that these labels are for lacquer paints.
First wipe and degrease the cap; a label will not stick to dried paint or a greasy surface. Then center the label on the cap, press it down from the center outward, and push out the air so the edge does not lift. What exactly is printed on the labels and how many a sheet holds is stated by the manufacturer on the packaging.
Thinner and spilled paint will damage a label, so wipe off any spills right away and do not let them dry. Before sticking labels on, arrange the bottles in the order you want them in; re-sticking an already applied label does not pay off, since glue remains on the cap once it is peeled off. If you decant paint into other bottles, move the label along with the contents, or you will end up with a mix-up that costs more time than labeling itself.
For modelers with a larger paint collection who want an organized drawer and do not want to search for a shade by feel.
Paints, bottles and a stand are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise. The manufacturer states the sheet's scope on the packaging.
