A sheet of universal circular masks in a range of diameters from 11.4 to 11.9 millimeters. They are not cut for a specific kit, so you will use them across scales and fields.
A circular mask will serve anywhere an exact circle is to be created or where a circular area needs protecting from paint: wheel hubs and rims, circular hatches and caps, instruments on a dashboard, headlights and reflectors, or circular features on bases and dioramas. Cutting such a circle out by hand and cleanly is slow work in which the hand easily slips and the edge frays.
The range from 11.4 to 11.9 millimeters covers close diameters, so you can pick a circle that fits exactly instead of making up the difference by painting over the edge. That pays off especially where the circle is to be concentric with the part beneath it.
Clean and degrease the surface first. Stick the mask on before spraying, press down its whole area and especially carefully the edge, so that the paint does not run under it. Spray perpendicularly and in thin coats; what most often runs under is paint applied at an angle and in a heavy coat. Take the mask off while the paint is freshly dried, and pull it at an angle over itself, not perpendicularly upward, so that the edge of the finish is not torn away.
The package contains masking templates. Paints, kits and tools are not included, unless stated otherwise.
