CLEAN 21 belongs to the supplementary line of the COLLE21 brand, which is built around cyanoacrylate glue and the related products: an activator, a remover for cured glue and precise applicators. According to the name it is a product intended for cleaning. The form of the package, the volume and the composition are given on the packaging of the product.
For the modeler who works with cyanoacrylate glue regularly. A clogged applicator and glued-up tips are the most common reason why a bottle of glue is thrown out before it is used up; cleaning as you go prevents that and spares you from having to get new applicators.
Cyanoacrylate glue cures with the humidity of the air, so it will harden anywhere even a thin film is left: in the mouth of the bottle, on the needle of an applicator and on tweezers. Once a tip has glued up, pushing the blockage through usually ends with the glue squirting onto the model in an uncontrolled amount. The habit of wiping a tool right after use is therefore a surer safeguard than repairing a flooded detail. It likewise holds that a degreased and dust-free surface makes a joint hold substantially better: the grease of fingers is a thin layer on which cyanoacrylate has nothing to grip.
Use chemical preparations in a ventilated room, out of the reach of children and away from an open flame. Before you use the preparation on a finished coat or on a finished model, test its effect in a hidden place.
