Cobra Motor Racing Yellow

Cobra Motor Racing Yellow by AMMO of Mig Jimenez

A shade from the Cobra Motor line, which AMMO of Mig Jimenez builds specifically for car modelers. The line is put together from colors taken off the bodies of real cars and from racing liveries, so it is not a universal palette but a set of particular tones. Racing Yellow is a deep racing yellow, that is a shade which behaves on a model like every strong yellow: it has little covering power over a dark surface and surface preparation decides the result.

Use

• Bodies and cowlings of car and motorcycle models, and smaller parts and accessories in the same tone.
• Apply light shades over a light surface. Over a dark or patchy base coat, yellow has to be overcoated and the sharpness of the edges is lost.
• Apply in thin coats and let them dry. A heavy coat of yellow floods the engraved detail of the body.
• Stir the paint thoroughly before use and try the thinning on a test part or on the inside of the body.
• The manufacturer offers its own thinner and cleaner for the Cobra Motor line, available separately.

Who the paint is for

For car modelers building road and racing cars and motorcycles, and for modelers who need a sharp yellow for a striking finish. It is just as useful outside car modeling wherever a clean, deep yellow tone is needed.

Work in a well ventilated room and protect your airways and eyes when spraying. Close the bottle carefully after use and keep it out of the reach of children.
