Cyanocrylate Flex is a cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) that AMMO of Mig Jimenez places among its modeling construction chemistry. It belongs to the cyanoacrylates, that is to the glues that set within a few moments of the parts being pressed together.
Cyanoacrylate needs two clean, closely mating surfaces and a really small amount. An excess does not increase the strength; it only runs out and leaves a whitish bloom that then has to be sanded off. Apply it with the tip of a wire or a toothpick rather than straight from the bottle. Dry fit the parts beforehand, because once they are pressed together there is no time left to correct anything. Do not join clear parts such as canopies and headlights with this type of glue; the fumes will fog them.
The glue bonds skin too, so work prudently and keep a cloth at hand. Tighten the cap carefully after every use, otherwise the contents will harden in the bottle. Store it cool, out of the reach of children, and during longer sessions make sure of a supply of fresh air. Do not leave an open bottle lying on its side and never put it down on a model under construction, where a leak would do the most damage.
