DakkaDakka - Kill Obsessed Squad - Khorne Heads 1:48

DakkaDakka - Kill Obsessed Squad - Khorne Heads 1:48

This is a modeling accessory for figures from the DakkaDakka range by Green Stuff World, specifically replacement heads from the Kill Obsessed Squad sub-range. It is not a figure and not a standalone model but parts with which figures of the matching size are completed and varied. The sub-range is pitched in a fantasy and science-fiction style and its name is the manufacturer's designation in the original wording.

What the accessory is for

The head is the most closely watched detail on a figure. Mass-produced figures tend to have identical heads within one unit, so the whole group looks monotonous and the individual pieces cannot be told apart. A different helmet shape, a different turn of the gaze and a different expression can turn several identical figures into recognizable individuals without anything else having to change. Accessories in the DakkaDakka range are moreover divided up by body part, so they can be combined freely across sub-ranges to create versions of your own.

What to look at before buying

• Size: the 1:48 figure is the designation the supplier uses for the whole DakkaDakka range.
• Judge compatibility with a particular figure from the dimensions given by the manufacturer.
• The number of pieces in the package and the material are given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
• The sub-ranges can be combined; heads from one go together with parts from another.
• The look of the parts differs markedly between the DakkaDakka sub-ranges.

Who the accessory is for

Above all for modelers and tabletop players who build larger groups of figures and want every piece to look different. It also finds a use in conversions, where combinations of your own are the main part of the fun, and in dioramas, where it matters that the characters in the background do not repeat.

This is an accessory for figures, not a standalone model. The look and the division of the parts differ between the individual DakkaDakka sub-ranges.
