A limited collector's edition combining a complete plastic kit of the P-51D Mustang fighter in 1:48 scale (Eduard plastic moldings) with an extensive English-language photo book from HMH Publications in the Duke Hawkins series. The package also includes 3D-printed detail parts, painting masks, and a large-format poster. The edition is limited (400 pieces in total) and is aimed mainly at collectors.
The North American P-51D Mustang was one of the most successful long-range fighters of the Second World War. The combination of the Packard Merlin engine, a bubble canopy giving excellent visibility, and long range made it an escort for strategic bombers over Europe as well as a fighter in the Pacific. Its laminar-flow wing and six wing-mounted machine guns are its hallmarks.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
