It belongs among the universal stencils, so it is not tied to one kit or to one scale and you will use it anywhere you need to spray a regular pattern over a larger area.
A regular grid works on the surfaces of hardware and buildings, on the accessories of dioramas and in free work in science fiction and fantasy. The result is decided mainly by which part of the sheet you pick and how you turn it on the surface; with one sheet you can thus manage several patterns of differing density.
Lay the stencil on the surface before spraying and press it down over the whole area, so that no paint seeps under the edges. Spray perpendicular to the surface and in thin coats; the less paint falls in one pass, the sharper the edge of the pattern is. Lift the stencil off while the paint is fresh and clean it at once, so that no dried paint stays in the cutouts. Choose the cleaning agent and the way the sheet is fixed to the surface according to the manufacturer's instructions on the box.
For modelers who spray with an airbrush and want a repeated pattern without laboriously cutting their own mask. Paints, thinner and masking tape are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
