About product

Abrasive paper, 1000 grit (dry) - AK Interactive

A quality modeling abrasive paper with durable abrasive grains for hand sanding dry. The 1000 grit is very fine - it is used as the final step for smoothing the surface and preparing it for painting. It leaves a smooth area with no visible scratches.

Use

  • Dry sanding - the final smoothing of the surface.
  • Removing the finest scratches before the paint goes on.
  • Evening out filler and plastic to a high smoothness.
  • The final step after coarse and medium grits.

Who it is for

For modelers who finish a surface to a high smoothness before painting or polishing.

Protect your airways while sanding; do not inhale the dust and ventilate the room.
