Dusty Grey is a medium gray shade with an earthy cast that corresponds to the RAL color chart under number 7037. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles at the bottom. The thinner and the thinning ratio differ from range to range, so use the thinner intended for this range and follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging; a thinner from another range can curdle the paint or spoil its adhesion. Try the consistency, the coverage and the shade on a piece of scrap plastic first and adjust the paint only according to that test. Wash and degrease the base before painting, and on large smooth areas a primer helps. Several thin coats give a more even result than one heavy one, which floods the fine surface relief and rounds off the edges.
