Eduard 1:48 Big Ed P-47D Razorback (for MiniArt) — a package that brings photo-etched parts, steel belts and masking film together. It is not a model but a set of details for a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A Big Ed package from the Czech manufacturer Eduard that combines several detail sets in a single box for the P-47D Thunderbolt fighter in the Razorback version in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory for a more advanced build, not a standalone model — it usually holds photo-etched parts for the exterior and the interior, steel self-adhesive seat belts and pre-cut painting masks. It is made for the P-47D Razorback plastic kit by MiniArt.
The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt was a massive American fighter of the Second World War. The Razorback version had a full spine behind the cockpit, unlike the later machines with a bubble canopy. The Thunderbolt stood out for its toughness and escorted the bomber formations over Europe.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a mat and bend them in a bending tool. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Lay the masks onto degreased glazing. Follow the instructions enclosed with the individual sets.
This is a set of accessories, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
