A combined detail collection, LööKplus, from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for the Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VI kit in 1:48 scale by Revell. LööKplus brings several sets together: a color resin (Brassin) instrument panel with steel harness belts (LööK), masking film, resin wheels, landing gear parts and exhausts. It is not an airplane model but a package of accessories that raises the level of the build considerably.
The Bristol Beaufighter was a British twin-engine heavy fighter and attack aircraft of the Second World War. The Mk.VI version was powered by Bristol Hercules radial engines and the machine proved itself as a night fighter and as a ship killer with bombs and torpedoes.
Wash the resin parts free of release agent residue first, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding. The color resin panels and belts only have to be fitted, and the masks speed up painting the canopy frames.
This is a collection of accessory sets in resin, photo-etch and masks, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
