A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks from the Czech maker Eduard for masking the glazing and the canopy frames of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXe fighter in 1:48 scale. The TFace designation means that the set contains masks for both sides of the glazing, outer and inner. A mask on its own is neither a model nor a part of an aircraft but an accessory that makes painting easier; according to the name it is cut for the Airfix kit.

The real subject

The Spitfire Mk.IX was among the most successful versions of the legendary British fighter of the Second World War. The Mk.IXe variant was marked by the universal wing with changed armament and was used at the end of the war and after it with a number of Allied air forces.
