A fluorescent orange is a color that is meant to be seen. On real equipment it turns up everywhere it matters that a machine or a part of it does not disappear into its surroundings: on trainers and target drones, on rescue and mountain equipment, on warning stripes, floats and markers. The shade glows more than an ordinary orange, because the pigment converts part of the invisible radiation into light the eye can perceive.
Fluorescent pigments cover less well than ordinary ones and lose their glow straight over a dark base. So lay down a light, ideally white base first and only then the paint in two or three thin coats; the saturation then builds up gradually and the surface stays smooth. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, and choose the thinning and the spraying pressure according to the manufacturer's instructions. Rinse your tools with water right after work, while the paint is fresh. Keep a finished model out of direct sunlight, as brilliant shades on it fade faster than other paints.
For modelers who build trainers and rescue machines, racing equipment or fantastic subjects and need a shade that will not disappear. The volume of the package is not given in the name; it is stated on the label on the bottle. Other paints, a thinner and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
