A set of resin figures of German infantry in calm, resting poses, in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker CMK. The figures are a good way to bring rear-area scenes, breaks between fighting and the quieter parts of World War II dioramas to life. They are aimed rather at more experienced modelers.
Resting figures give a diorama narrative force, because they add the everyday life of soldiers away from direct combat. The figures capture relaxed poses at rest. The treatment is historically factual and neutral. They combine well with vehicles, buildings and more active figures.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, carefully cut away the casting blocks and bond the parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the skin with shading and tone the uniform according to period references. Quiet scenes reward a finer patina and a convincing placement in the setting.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
