The plastic sprues alone of the two-seat strike Eagle in 1:48 scale, without photo-etched parts, decals and masks. A straightforward route to a second airframe for the collection.

With this brand the designation overtrees means exactly one thing: you get only the plastic sprues of the kit, without the things that make a full set out of a box. So there are no photo-etched parts, no decals and no masking film in it, and do not count on a color instruction sheet either. It makes sense at the moment when you already have one box at home and want to build a second machine in a different scheme, or when you want to try the build as a dry run.
The subject is the F-15E, the two-seat strike version of the Eagle. It arose in the middle of the eighties and differs substantially from the fighter original: it has a strengthened airframe with a longer life, a rear seat for the weapon systems officer, adapted instrumentation and above all conformal fuel tanks along the sides of the fuselage, on which there are a number of further pylons. It is precisely thanks to them that it carries a bomb load that would not have fitted on the original air superiority fighter.
It will serve excellently a modeler who wants to build a pair of machines from one squadron, or someone who likes his own accessories and would not use the factory photo-etched parts anyway. You have to count on obtaining the instructions and the decals elsewhere, so the set is not suitable as a first encounter with this type of aircraft.
