Gauge Neutral Leaf trees and bushes, assorted, 15 pcs. light green

HEKI deciduous trees and bushes, light green, 15 pieces

A set of fifteen finished deciduous trees and bushes from the German maker HEKI in a light green finish. Light green matches fresh leaf, so the set places a scene unambiguously in spring or at the beginning of summer. The package holds various sizes and shapes, so that a group coming across as natural can be put together from them, not a row of identical pieces.

Use

• spring and early summer scenes on a layout and in a diorama
• groups of trees around buildings, gardens and paths
• light growth as a counterweight to dark conifers
• completing existing greenery with younger and lighter pieces

How to work with the small trees

The small trees are stuck into a prepared hole or glued by the foot of the trunk. Before settling them, set them out dry and check the view from the place you look at the layout from. Light trees draw attention, so put them toward the front and into the foreground of a scene, while the background is left darker; the landscape thereby gains depth. If the crowns are too sparse, top them up with foliage flakes on a thin layer of glue.

Who the set is for

For builders of layouts and dioramas who need more trees at once, and for modelers who want to place a scene unambiguously in spring. If you combine the set with older small trees, compare the shades before gluing; light green beside a faded crown comes across as two different seasons. This is a modeling material, not a toy. The maker marks its landscaping goods as not suitable for children under fifteen years of age.
