The McLaren 720S is a British two-seat sports car with a V8 engine mounted behind the occupants' backs. The engine is turbocharged by a pair of turbochargers, and its output is reflected even in the name of the car. The load-bearing part is a carbon fiber tub, onto which a body is fitted that is shaped so that air flows through it to the radiators and to the rear wing. It is precisely the hollowed-out side section and the narrow front headlights that make the 720S a car recognizable even in a scale that fits in the palm of your hand.
The designation LB-Works belongs to the wide body conversion by the Japanese workshop Liberty Walk. In it the car receives widened fenders with visible rivets, a deeper front spoiler, side skirts and a bold rear wing, and it sits lower above the road. The Boring Concept 2024 is then the designation of the particular version the model is finished in.
It is a finished collector's model in 1:64 scale. The real car is over four and a half meters long, so the model is roughly seven centimeters long and fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and in an ordinary collector's display case. The model is not built or painted; it is supplied finished and painted, so there is no work between buying it and standing it on a shelf.
