Responsibility details are not available.
A set of modeling chain in six versions. The size runs from 0.9 to 1.1 mm, so it is a fine chain for small scales, where an ordinary chain from a haberdashery looks coarse. The individual versions differ from one another, so for every task you can choose the one whose link shape best matches the real subject.
Most often on ship models, where chain belongs to the anchor, to the railings, to the davits of the boats and to lashing cargo on deck. But it will find a use away from ships too: on vehicles as a towing eye, a fuel tank cap or a securing of the rear wall of the bed, and in a diorama then as a barrier, the tethering of an animal or a detail at a gate. It is exactly such small things that make the difference on a finished scene, because a viewer's eye looks for them.
Cut the chain with sharp nippers, so that the neighboring links are not deformed. Anchor the end with super glue, ideally into a pre-drilled little hole where the joint will not be visible. Before painting, wash and degrease the chain. Apply the paint in thin layers; a thick coat floods the links and the chain stiffens into an immovable wire. It looks best when, once dry, it keeps at least part of its flexibility and can be made to sag naturally. Then bring the shade to life with a darker glaze into the hollows and a light cast of rust in places where the chain would rub against metal.
For ship modelers and builders of dioramas who need fine chain in several sizes together. Paints, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
