A military bed in 1:35 scale will furnish an interior scene where equipment is not enough. It will find a use in barracks, in a billet, in a field dressing station, in a cellar turned into a shelter and in a command post. An empty room works as a backdrop; a single bed turns it into a place where someone actually lives.
It is a separate furnishing element supplied in separate parts, which are assembled and glued. It is not part of any model or kit, so you place it in a scene of your own as needed.
Assemble the parts dry first and check whether the bed stands level on all its legs, because it is exactly leaning furniture that gives a mistake away on a diorama at first glance. Level the seating surfaces and choose the glue according to the material of the parts. Credibility is added by unmaking it: a thin fabric or paper wadding soaked in thinned white glue can be left to dry into the folds of a blanket thrown over it. Finally add wear, that is scuffed edges and a cast of dust near the ground.
