An office chair is an object that places a room at once. Standing behind a desk it turns a bare room into an office or a command post, while overturned in the middle of the floor it suggests a hurried departure. And yet in a scene it takes up little room and catches the eye immediately.
The package contains four office chairs in 1:35 scale produced by direct 3D printing from resin. The number of pieces is enough to fit out one whole room or to divide between two smaller scenes.
Remove the print supports with nippers and level the remaining stubs with a sharp knife and fine abrasive paper. The thin legs and the base are fragile, so handle the parts in your fingers rather than gripped hard in tweezers. Wash off the residue of printing resin and let the parts dry out thoroughly, or the paint will stay tacky. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). When painting, set the upholstery apart from the base by shade; a dark wash into the gaps and fine dry brushing on the edges will give the chair volume.
The set is intended for builders of interior dioramas who are furnishing an office, a command post, workshop premises or a cleared building and need furniture in the right scale. A model, a building, figures, paints and glue are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
