Twelve chocks for under the wheels of aircraft in 1:72 scale. Set number seven of the series of airfield accessories from Dan models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A chock placed under a wheel is the only thing that keeps a parked aircraft from moving across the surface. The ground personnel put it in place after the machine stops and remove it only just before taxiing. On a model it is a small thing that explains to a scene that the machine is really standing, and not merely hanging above a base.
The package consists of twelve chocks in 1:72 scale. A chock is placed both in front of a wheel and behind it, so the contents will secure six wheels. That corresponds to one larger machine with nose gear, or to two smaller aircraft standing side by side. This is the seventh number of the series; the sets differ from one another in the shape and the size of the chocks, so they do not all have to be the same on one surface.
The set suits modelers who build an airfield scene with one or two machines, and equally for completing a finished model on a base. The remaining pieces will serve with wheeled vehicles standing on the same surface. The package contains only the chocks. The model of the aircraft, a base, figures, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
