A pair of parts, the nozzle and cap in the 0.3 mm version, which Vallejo supplies for the Innovator, Profinish and EasyAir airbrushes.
Responsibility details are not available.
The fitting most often worked with on a modeling airbrush. This cross section handles thicker paints, primers and matte varnishes without trouble, where they would clog a finer channel, and it can still draw the line narrow enough for a camouflage transition. That is exactly why this size tends to be fitted from the factory, and why modelers come back to it even after trying the finer variant. The package covers both parts of the mouth at once: the nozzle and the cap that encircles it.
A clogged nozzle can be cleaned, a mechanically damaged one cannot. Once the mouth is nicked or ovalized, or the thread is stripped, the shape will not come back and the line will stay crooked. Cracks in the body of the nozzle likewise draw in air, which shows as the paint bubbling in the cup. Telling the two apart is easy: after a thorough cleaning try a short line on paper, and if it stays split or slanted, the part has served its time.
According to the manufacturer it suits the Innovator, Profinish and EasyAir models. Check which size is currently fitted in the airbrush and pair the nozzle with a needle of the same diameter, or the two will not seal and flow control will stop working. A replacement mouth is also the simplest way to return an older airbrush to its original precision, and anyone who alternates between both sizes will appreciate having both ready.
