True Metallic Metal LiGHT - Dusken Green

Vallejo True Metallic Metal Light, Dusken Green (metallic acrylic paint)

A water-thinnable acrylic metallic paint from the True Metallic Metal line with very fine metal pigments and a realistic sheen in figure scale. The Dusken Green shade is a muted, darkly pitched metal green, and this Light version is the lighter tone used for highlighting. In the Base, Shade and Light system, Light plays the part of the highlighting tone on edges and lit areas, while the base color covers the surface. The paint is non-toxic and odorless, is thinned with water and comes in an 18 ml dropper bottle.

Use

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use to stir up the metal pigment.
• Apply it with a brush to a smooth, prepared ground; it covers over both a black and a white base.
• Use it as the highlighting tone on the edges and lit spots of darker metal areas.
• Apply metallic paints toward the end, as they are harder to mask and to overspray.
• Once thinned with water it can also be sprayed with an airbrush; the line has a separate airbrush version for spraying.
