Responsibility details are not available.
A small plastic kit of the Soviet heavy tank KV-2 in 1:100 scale from Zvezda. It is a snap-fit model intended primarily for tabletop wargames; the parts fit into one another and the basic assembly can be managed without glue. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; for the exact number of parts and contents of the package, follow the enclosed instructions.
The KV-2 was a Soviet heavy tank of the early Second World War derived from the KV-1. Its characteristic feature was the tall boxy turret with a short 152 mm howitzer intended to destroy fortifications and bunkers. The tank was heavily armored but heavy and slow; it was deployed mainly in 1941. Thanks to its unmistakable silhouette it is among the icons of the early era of the Eastern Front.
Snap-fit joints seat more firmly if you secure them with a drop of thin cement for plastic. Because of the small scale, deburr the moldings carefully and sand the parting lines. Spray the base over a primer with an airbrush, though on such a small area a careful brush will do as well. You will bring out the details with a dark wash in the corners and a fine dry brush on the edges; mud and dust pigments on the tracks and lower hull will quickly bring the model to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
