A giant plastic kit in the premium 1:12 scale from the manufacturer Italeri. The kit is complemented by detail features such as photo-etched and chrome-plated parts, rubber tires and an opening hood with a richly detailed engine. The package holds decals for two historic marking options. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Bugatti Type 35 is among the most successful racing cars of all time - in the 1920s and 1930s it collected hundreds of victories. It became famous for its elegant shape, its cast wheels and the typical French racing blue. The supercharged 35B version was the peak of the family. This edition offers markings from two famous historic races: the 1928 Targa Florio (the legendary Sicilian road race) and the 1930 Monaco Grand Prix. Car number 58 from the 1928 Targa Florio was driven by the Czech racer Eliska Junkova - one of the finest women drivers in the history of motorsport, who held the lead in that race against male opposition on a Bugatti Type 35. For a Czech builder it is an exceptional piece of both domestic and world racing history.
The large 1:12 scale makes for a demanding but exceptionally rewarding build for the advanced. A smooth, glossy body is essential - spray the blue with an airbrush and polish it to a wet gloss. Give attention to the detail of the engine, to the wheels and to the chrome-plated parts. Bond the photo-etched parts with super glue. Apply the decals over a gloss clear coat and fix them with a decal softener.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
