Responsibility details are not available.
A resin kit of the British heavy tank Mark IV in the machine gun version Female in 1:120 scale (TT) from the Hauler brand. Unlike the Male gun version, the Female carries no guns — it is armed with machine guns only and its side sponsons are smaller. It was intended for defense against infantry and for escorting the gun tanks. The small scale and the fine parts destine the model for dioramas and TT layouts. The exact number of parts is not stated here.
The Mark IV was a British heavy tank deployed from 1917 with a characteristic rhomboid shape and the tracks running around the whole hull. The Female machine gun version complemented the Male gun tanks — while the Male destroyed fortifications and vehicles, the Female used its machine guns to protect the tanks and their crews from attacking infantry. Both versions proved themselves in the Battle of Cambrai among others.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, separate them from the casting blocks and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding. The small parts in a small scale call for care. Apply a primer, spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats and bring out the broken-up surface of the tank with a wash in the recesses, drybrushing on the edges and pigments for mud effects.
The resin kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
