An injection-molded plastic diorama accessory in 1:35 scale from Italeri that represents the corner of a damaged masonry building. It is not a model of a vehicle or a figure but a structural element for a scene: the parts faithfully capture brickwork laid bare under cracked plaster. The accessory serves as a backdrop and a natural frame for vehicles and figures in 1:35 scale.
The house corner creates in the scene a ruin of urban development typical of the battlefields of the Second World War and of later conflicts as well. The corner can be built on its own as a background, or combined with further buildings and rubble into a more extensive diorama. The brick texture and the exposed masonry leave room for lighting the scene and for telling a story around the equipment and the soldiers.
Glue the parts with a thin cement for plastic and clean up the mating surfaces. Paint the plaster and the bricks with an airbrush as well as a brush after a base primer is sprayed on; bring the differing shades of the bricks and the mortar to life by stippling. The layering of colored filters, a dark wash into the joints and dust pigments will add realism. Rubble, plaster grit and plants can be added from your own materials and the building set into a terrain base.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, figures and vehicles are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
