An injection-molded plastic kit of the famous German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in 1:144 scale from Zvezda. It is a compact model with a small number of parts and finely engraved panel lines, ideal as a quick project or as an addition to a collection of Second World War aircraft. Thanks to the small 1:144 scale the finished machine takes up a minimum of room and suits players of tabletop games as well.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was a German single-seat fighter and one of the most widespread fighters of the Second World War. It was marked by a slim fuselage, narrow landing gear and a liquid-cooled inverted V engine. During the war it went through a whole range of versions with progressively more powerful engines and armament and served on every front from the start of the conflict to its end.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work carefully, because small parts in a small scale call for a steady hand. Finish the cockpit before the fuselage is closed. Lay down a primer before painting and apply the paints with an airbrush; the German fighter camouflages with squiggle patterns on the fuselage sides are typical, and they suit fine shading and discreet weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
