An injection-molded plastic kit of the ship Ching Yuen from Bronco in 1:144 scale. It is a model of a Chinese warship of the late 19th century that belonged to the Chinese Beiyang Fleet. The model is made up of the hull, the superstructure, the gun turrets and the artillery; the particular contents of the package and the number of parts are given on the box.
Ching Yuen was an armored cruiser of the Imperial Chinese Navy from the 1880s. Ships of this type carried their main artillery in turrets and their secondary armament along the sides, and they were fielded during the Sino-Japanese conflict at the close of the 19th century.
Clean the flash off the parts before gluing and tidy up the parting lines. Use liquid cement for plastic and apply a filler primer before painting. The hull and the decks come out well when sprayed with an airbrush, while the fine fittings and the railings can be picked out by hand. It is worth getting a display base as well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
