Myasishchev 3MS (NATO Bison-B) 1:144 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet four-engine strategic bomber from Mikromir.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of a Soviet strategic bomber in the small 1:144 scale. The model from Mikromir is done as a short-run tooling made in limited numbers, which makes it possible to build a large four-engine aircraft to a compact display size.
The Myasishchev M-4 and its development versions (NATO reporting name Bison) were Soviet four-engine jet strategic bombers designed in the 1950s for long-range strikes. The 3M version (Bison-B) brought changes to the airframe and the powerplant aimed at increasing range. The aircraft served with long-range aviation and also as aerial tankers.
With a short-run tooling, expect more careful cleaning up of the parts, removal of flash and possible filling of the joints. Use a primer before painting; the metal surfaces of the airframe come out well with metallic paint, which is best stirred thoroughly and applied to a smooth base. Emphasize the panel lines with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
