S tímto vozem získala Honda ve Velké ceně Mexika 1965 své první vítězství ve Formuli 1. Byl to zároveň vůbec první triumf japonského vozu, motoru i týmu v F1.

Doporučujeme ho. Formulové obtisky jsou rozsáhlé a musí sednout na oblé plochy karoserie. Bez změkčovadla vznikají stříbřité bublinky, které jsou v lesklém laku okamžitě vidět.

Pečlivě přebrousit spoje, nastříkat primer, nanést lesklou barvu v tenkých vrstvách, aplikovat obtisky a přes ně čirý lak. Nakonec se povrch vyleští do „mokrého“ vzhledu.

Stavba je konstrukčně přímočará, ale dokonale lesklá karoserie a rozsáhlé obtisky vyžadují trpělivost. Na lesku se na rozdíl od patinovaného vojenského modelu neschová žádná chyba.
