An injection-molded plastic car kit in 1:24 scale from Italeri. It captures the famous Audi Quattro in its rally form of the early 1980s. The box contains plastic sprues, clear parts, rubber tires and decal sheets; the model is glued and painted before it is built up.
The Audi Quattro entered the world of motorsport as the pioneer of permanent all-wheel drive in the world rally championship. Thanks to a turbocharged five-cylinder engine and 4x4 drive it changed the rules of the game and became an icon of the Group B era. The decals make it possible to build the car in the colors of the works team from the 1981 Monte Carlo Rally.
It is a classic tooling, so clean the parts of flash and parting lines and check the fit before gluing. Spray the body with an airbrush, cover it with a gloss coat once dry, apply the decals onto the gloss surface and seal them with another coat. Paint and glue the chrome and clear parts only at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
