A set of photo-etched parts for a model of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento car in 1:24 scale. An accessory to a kit that replaces plastic parts simplified in shape.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is an Italian sports car presented in 2010 and built with an emphasis on the lowest possible weight. Its name points to carbon, the sixth element of the periodic table, because carbon fiber composites were used on the car to an unusually large extent, even where metal is otherwise found. The body is sharply cut, with triangular surfaces and open vents above the rear section.
This is an accessory set of photo-etched parts for a model in 1:24 scale. Photo-etched parts are thin and sharply defined, which is why they suit everywhere a plastic part is too bulky for its thickness, that is to say on grilles, eyes and small flat details. Which particular parts the set holds and which kit it is cut for is in the manufacturer's instructions; go through them before the build and lay the parts in place dry.
Cut the parts out of the sheet with a sharp blade on a hard surface, not with nippers, so that the edge does not bend. Make the bends over a straight edge, best in a bender, and in one stroke; repeated bending cracks the material. They are bonded with super glue or a two-part glue; a cement for polystyrene will not join them. Degrease the parts before painting and apply a base color, otherwise the layer is rubbed off during handling.
An accessory set of photo-etched parts is supplied. The kit of the car, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
