An injection-molded plastic kit of the rally car in 1:24 scale from the Italian manufacturer Italeri. The set contains parts in hard plastic, clear glazing parts, decals for a period competition livery and soft rubber tires. It is a kit of medium difficulty, suitable even for modelers who are only starting with cars.
The Lancia Delta HF Integrale was the peak of development of the Delta range and one of the most successful rally cars in history. All-wheel drive, a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and aggressively widened fenders made it a long-unbeatable machine of the world championship, among other events at the famous Monte Carlo Rally. The prominent air intakes on the hood and the sturdy body are characteristic of it.
It is best to spray the body with an airbrush and cover it with a gloss clear coat so that the livery comes out well. Let the paint cure properly before applying the decals. Join the plastic parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic, fill the small gaps and sand them down. Careful masking of the dividing lines between colors pays off, because the competition livery is built on contrasts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
