This injection-molded plastic kit captures the Toyota Celsior luxury sedan of the UCF11 generation in the 4.0 C specification. The set holds a multi-part body, a detailed interior and a chassis, and it is supplied unpainted. The box usually also holds alloy wheels, clear parts and masks for the window frames for a convincing result.
The Celsior was Toyota's flagship, and on export markets it was sold as the first-generation Lexus LS. It was powered by a refined 4.0-liter 1UZ-FE V8 driving the rear wheels. The car was known for its quiet running, its build quality and comfort fit for the luxury class at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s.
Sand the body down, treat it with filler primer and spray it with a gloss paint worked to a perfectly smooth surface, which is what makes a luxury sedan stand out. Glue with thin plastic cement, fill the seams, and fit the chrome and clear parts last. The chrome trim is the key to the period look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
