It is not a model and not a kit — it is a thin, three-dimensionally shaped and color-printed part imitating the instrument panel with dials, switches and labels, which takes the place of the bare plastic part in the kit. The set is designed for the A-4M kit by Trumpeter. In the large 1:32 scale the instruments stand out and give the cockpit a realistic look without laborious painting.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was a compact single-engine carrier-based attack aircraft, famous for its small size, its simplicity and its large weapons load. The A-4M Skyhawk II version was a late, more powerful variant for the United States Marine Corps with a distinctive squared-off hump behind the canopy.
