This is not an airplane model but a resin (3D printed) accessory. The package contains a faithful replacement for the Escapac IC-2 / IG-2 ejection seat in its early version, as used by the A-7 (E, D) Corsair II attack aircraft. The set replaces the seat from the box on the matching kit in 1:32 scale; the manufacturer of the accessory is Reskit.
The cockpit seat is the most closely watched feature of an open cockpit. The 3D printed replacement brings sharper detail of the frame, the straps and the lever controls than injection-molded plastic offers. The designation IC-2 / IG-2 (early) refers to the early version of the seat matching the given period of the aircraft's service.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue, separate them from the print supports with a sharp knife and sand with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Pick the straps and the padding out in a shade different from the body of the seat and tune them with a wash into the detail.
The accessory is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin set. Glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package.
