The MG 131 for the dorsal position of the Ju 88/188 in 1:48 scale is a 3D printed set of two pieces for refining the defensive armament.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D printed detail set, not an airplane model. It contains two German MG 131 aircraft machine guns for the dorsal defensive position (the B-Stand) of the Ju 88 and Ju 188 in 1:48 scale. 3D printing captures the shape of the barrel, the cooling and the mounting of the weapon more accurately than injection-molded plastic allows. The set is intended for completing the upper defensive position of a model.
The MG 131 was a German 13 mm aircraft machine gun used during the Second World War. The dorsal position (the B-Stand) was the upper defensive station of the Ju 88 bomber and of the derived Ju 188, from where the gunner covered the area behind and above the aircraft.
For modelers who want to improve the defensive armament of their model with finer parts. It calls for experience with small resin parts.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports, clean them up and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways while sanding. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
