A pair of AGM-142 Popeye guided missiles, designated Have Nap in American service, in 1:32. An accessory from the brand Reskit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The AGM-142 is a heavy air-to-ground guided missile of Israeli origin, known under the name Popeye. The US Air Force introduced it under the designation Have Nap for B-52 bombers. The missile is launched from a safe distance outside the reach of point air defenses and is guided to the target by an operator in the aircraft using the picture from the seeker head, transmitted over a data link. It is among the largest weapons of its kind, so only a limited circle of types carries it, and that is exactly what makes it a conspicuous feature on a model.
There are two missiles in 1:32 in the package. The name gives the carriers it suits: the F-4E, F-15I, F-111C and B-52G/H. In the large scale it pays to reach for separate armament, because the weapons supplied with kits tend to be simplified in shape while being immediately visible on a finished model. Whether a rack belongs to the parts is stated by the manufacturer.
Cut excess material away with a sharp blade a little from the part and sand the remainder down, so that no step is left on the rounded surface. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. It is sensible to spray the missile separately, away from the model, and glue it to the wing only when finished. The recommended glue and the order of the steps are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
For builders of modern combat aircraft in 1:32 who want to complete a model with true underwing armament. The subject of the delivery is the parts of the missiles. The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
