Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:32 scale is intended for a plastic model of the American twin-engined North American B-25J Mitchell medium bomber in the form with the glazed bombardier nose. It is neither a kit nor a model in its own right, but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want crisp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage areas without tediously cutting tape by hand.
The North American B-25 Mitchell is an American twin-engined medium bomber of the Second World War. The J version was the most produced and was built with two forms of nose. The form with the glazed, so-called greenhouse nose carried the bombardier's station with a bombsight and was the classic bombing variant. It is precisely that extensive nose glazing that makes masking the most demanding part of painting this version.
Degrease the extensive glazing of the bombardier nose and the pilot's cockpit carefully. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them patiently onto the individual windows, working systematically panel by panel. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats, so that it does not run under an edge. The masks for the wheels separate the tire from the disc. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a shallow angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
