This accessory is a replacement cockpit canopy frame in the closed position, not a whole model. It is a 3D printed resin part in 1:32 scale for building the F-35 fighter in the A and C versions. The frame faithfully captures the profile and the details which on plastic parts tend to be simplified, and it is intended for displaying the aircraft with the canopy closed.
The F-35 Lightning II is a single-seat multi-purpose fighter aircraft of the fifth generation with features of reduced observability. The A version is land-based with conventional landing gear and the C version is carrier-borne with larger lifting surfaces. A precise canopy frame raises the fidelity of one of the most closely watched areas of a model.
Separate the part from the printing supports, wash and degrease it; it is glued with super glue. The glazing can be completed with the clear part from the kit or with formed film and masked during painting. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
