1:32 MBD2-67U multiple bombs racks (2 pcs)

MBD2-67U multiple bomb racks (1:32, Reskit)

A detail accessory cast in resin, not an airplane model. The set adds a pair of MBD2-67U multiple bomb racks, on which several bombs can be hung under the wing or the fuselage at once. Racks of this type were used on a number of Soviet and Russian combat machines, for example on the MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-27 or Su-25. The package contains 2 pieces and is meant to be fitted to plastic kits in 1:32 scale. The set is made by Reskit, a Ukrainian specialist in resin and 3D-printed accessories.

Fitting and painting

• Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water first — that removes mold release residue and uncured resin.
• Cut the casting blocks and supports off with a sharp scalpel or a fine saw, and do not snap the delicate pins.
• Sand the cut marks — always with respiratory protection, ideally wet.
• Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate); plastic cement does not hold on resin.
• Apply a primer before the color; the racks are usually painted in the shade of the underside of the aircraft, and a wash and drybrushed edges bring out the detail.

Who the set is for

• For modelers building Soviet and Russian combat aircraft in 1:32 scale.
• For those who want more faithful external stores than the plastic from the box offers.
• Working with resin assumes at least basic experience.

The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, the bombs, paints and glue are not included in the package. Use a respirator and ventilate when sanding resin.
